Are you one of the teams that entered the bada Student Developer Challenge? Then you get the chance to have your app available on the Samsung Apps store! To help you get on there, here’s the lowdown on what our friends at SERI advise you to do.
In short, there are four key stages you have to follow:
1. Make sure the file and folder structure of your application is correct. Manifest files are correctly defined for desired handset(s) (on developer site http://developer.bada.com). Make sure you are not using the default icon and splash screen.
2. Perform all detailed testing on emulator or device to make sure the app works correctly and user experience is as you wish to provid to your end customers. For this, check out the attached “Certification Guide”.
3. Create the package of your final application (in the bada IDE, menu “Project” > “Make Package”)
4. Log in to the Samsung Seller site at http://seller.samsungapps.com using your seller account. Configure your seller account on whether you wish to charge or provide your application for free. Find more info in the attached “Seller Office User Guide”. Then submit your app for certification.

Applications that fail QA will be reported to you on average in about 7 working days (depending in which markets you intend to publish). You will receive a report and a video showing exactly the defect. If you hear nothing (for 7 days) following the submission of their application package, this will normally mean the application has passed QA and will be available in the Samsung Apps store.
If you wish to sell your applications, information on how to achieve this can be found on the developer site at:
Home > Support > FAQ > FAQ for Developers site > Application Sales
